APHA's 2016 Annual Meeting and Expo brings together more than 12,000 of your peers from across the U.S. and around the world to network, educate and share experiences. This year we'll be talking about health equity and ensuring the right to health.

Health is not an option. It's about access. It's about equity. And it's about giving more attention where needed. EVERYONE deserves the opportunity to achieve the highest level of health. Becoming the healthiest nation means some communities and populations might require more resources than others. Moving toward health equity means we must value all people equally, promote prevention and zero in on the social determinants of health.
