Hi everyone!

I am very excited to start grad school this summer!! However, I noticed that the financial aid I am eligble for and being offered to pay for grad school are all loans. YIKES! I am so worried about becoming in debt, and was wondering...how do I pay for grad school?!!! I am on my search for scholarships and already have one in my pocket from an AmeriCorps experience I served. Are there any other opportunities for money that anyone knows about? Also, I am currently working full-time, so I will have some money to survive with my daily expenses. lol. Other than this, are there any opportunities that offer money for grad school? Thank you for your input!

Hey, Liset, congrats on starting grad school, and thank you for your AmeriCorps service! Have you received any response to your inquiry? I've thought a lot about this issue for my own grad school trajectory, and I think that I will be relying on loans, possibly scholarships from the specific school, and service work following school. Hopefully I will be able to work in the non-profit sector in order to pay off a portion of my grad school debt and do some good at the same time. Good luck!
