We are searching for a Part-Time Research Assistant II (16-20 hours per week) located in Albuquerque, NM to provide assistance with data collection for two ongoing NIH-funded research studies. Travel around the State of New Mexico will be required, minimal overnight.
Have a current NM driver’s license and access to transportation
Excellent attention to details
Excellent organizational and communication (including writing) skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a data collection team
Ability to work comfortably with LGBTI youth; School officials; Tribal Organizations and American Indian Populations
M.A. or equivalent degree; or currently working on a Degree in the social sciences, or a relevant discipline; or minimum of one year of experience in behavioral-health-related research
Experience working with SGM youth or American Indian Populations preferred
Qualitative Interview experience preferred
Participate in monthly project status meetings Coordinate with team members concerning assignments and scheduling
