Strategic Engagement Consultant - Kaiser Permanente

  • Portfolio Development – Drive greater awareness, collaboration, and mutually beneficial relationships between KP Ventures portfolio companies (33 innovative health tech/services companies) and relevant KP stakeholders. Support existing portfolio partnerships (17 partnerships) and identify and execute against potentially new collaborations between portfolio companies and KP. Serve as a translator, broker, and project manager.
  • Content Development and Communications – Serve as a presentation specialist, collaborating with the team and assisting in KP Ventures brand awareness efforts. Activities include development of presentation materials (i.e. PowerPoint), communication efforts (i.e. portfolio news, newsletter, website, social media), and focused events.
  • Meeting and Event Coordination/Support  –  Coordinating meetings and calendars for complicated meetings (i.e. involving stakeholders from multiple KP regions and/or companies).

This position is a unique opportunity for someone who is relatively early in their career, as it has high visibility, and provides regular opportunity to work directly with senior/executive leaders from KP and external KP portfolio companies (ex: Omada, Genome Medical, Rock Health,, Validic, etc) – As such, it will require expertise and some previous experience in inspiring collaboration, diplomacy in navigating divergent interest, use of data to support recommendations, fortitude in driving strategy, and comfort with building and managing relationships. Prior knowledge of KP and/or rapport across KP’s leadership will give a running head start to the person in this role.
