Achieving or Navigating Your Authentic Health Career Workshop--A Moment to Reflect on your Professional & Personal Goals

You have 7 days left and you haven’t registered. You don’t have the time, the price is a bit too steep, you’ve got everything planned out and don’t need any help? I know we’ve been there, but I urge you to take a step back and to begin taking control of your career and your future. Anyone holding back because of the cost or time, realize that the real cost here is not investing in your success. Got everything planned out? We know you’re smart, but we want to help you be effective.

This isn’t your traditional AMSA or SUMMA event (which are amazing, don’t get me wrong. I go every year). But we’re giving you more than the a few hundred booths of admission representatives who will only remember one or two of the students they meet, or the few key tips to get into med school from the deans of admissions of your dream school. We’re giving you an action plan to succeed from where you are now and invaluable insights to navigate and be happy throughout your life and career. We’re giving you an authentic and continuous support network with You will examine your preferences, behaviors, and strategies through the unique new lens of Greg Hicks happiness and leadership model (companies like Google and Mayo Clinic pay thousands of dollars for this) and Jeff’s 25-year track record of empowering people to achieve their health and public career goals.   You will evaluate if after a grueling undergraduate career, worrying yourself sick about getting into the MPH, MD or DVM program of your dreams (or your mom’s), and not to mention the hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt you’ll be acquiring over your decade or more in school, if you’ll actually be happy. Or if you’re headed to become like the vast majority of professionals that dread the moment their alarm clock signals that it’s time for another day of work. More than that, you’ll be getting insight into what graduate schools and employers are looking for from the people who are internationally recognized pioneers in their fields and the chance to expand your professional network (the key to success).  Whether you are an undergraduate, recent grad, grad student or further along in your health career journey, this workshop will be beneficial to you.

In short, we’re giving you a workshop that’s actually about you, and I guaranteed that you wont find another one like it. Why? Because Jeff and Greg actually care about you discovering your passion and achieving your career goals. Weird right? It’s weird because no one really focuses on making sure there is an alignment between your personal and professional fulfillment. If you want to be a health professional, you need to put your own health first-and that means your emotional wellbeing too, it means being happy. Let this workshop be your first step. Hope to see you there!
