DiYA (Diabetes in Young Adults) study:
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, attentive individual with an interest in diabetes research to join our team, working on a study to determine the incidence of type 1 diabetes among young adults. This position is based at Kaiser Permanente Southern California Department of Research & Evaluation in Pasadena. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must, as well as a strong ability to communicate with people from diverse ethnic, economic and educational backgrounds. Responsibilities include: recruiting new and current study participants to invite them to complete study activities; preparing and sending mailings and study files, administering questionnaires, and tracking and entering participant data. Previous telephone recruitment experience preferred.
Although this position primarily supports the DiYA project, the research assistant will also provide support for other studies.
