We welcome application from outstanding scientists investigating the mechanisms, treatment, and/or prevention of behavioral health problems and related topics. Candidates are expected to develop grant and/or contract funding proposals in collaboration with an existing PIRE investigator. Part-time salary support with full benefits will be provided for up to 18 months. Salary and benefits are competitive. PIRE is an independent, nonprofit organization merging scientific knowledge and proven practice to create solutions that improve the health, safety and well-being of individuals, communities, and nations around the world. PIRE research, policy, and evaluation work is summarized at www.pire.org. The Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) is one of PIRE’s Centers and is housed in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Interested individuals should submit a curriculum vitae and a synopsis of research interests and future plans including the names of one or more PIRE collaborators.
