LifeLong Medical Care: AmeriCorp (CA)

LifeLong Medical Care currently has five AmeriCorps Fellows positions open. These positions are fulltime (40 hrs/wk) and is a one–year commitment of serving a minimum of 1,700 service hours over a 10 to 12 month period. The start date will be September 17, 2018 and will end July 19, 2019.  The AmeriCorps Fellow will be providing culturally and linguistically appropriate health education, outreach, referrals, and enrollment into programs directly to community members while getting the skills they need to pursue a health profession.

 For the AmeriCorps Fellows program, LifeLong Medical Care is seeking candidates who are dedicated and driven, and have a passion and interest in community health. This program would be especially ideal for individuals that may be interested in becoming clinicians or primary care providers.

  • Position: Adolescents Health and Wellness - Location: LifeLong School Based Health Center - Oakland, CA - Preference: Bilingual- Spanish speaking
