The Project Policy Analyst is a position for a one-year qualitative project titled ”Scalable Strategies to Recruit Latinos into Dementia Research” led by the Principal Investigator (PI). The project has three sites in California: San Francisco, Fresno and Los Angeles.
The PI is looking for a bi-lingual and bi-cultural Project Policy Analyst to perform tasks related to investigation of the Latino community in Los Angeles. This is a superb position to kick-start a career in research or project management.
Study participants at each site include: 32 Latino community members, 32 Latinos age 50+, 16 caregivers of Latinos with cognitive impairment, and 10 administrators of community-based organizations.
Tasks include: building partnerships with community based organizations serving the Latino community, organizing, recruiting and facilitating 10 focus groups, organizing and conducting 10 interviews, coding transcripts, and coordinating with the project manager based in the Bay Area. Overall, the Project Policy Analyst will provide support with data collection and analysis, as well as with manuscript writing and dissemination of the findings.
